Now I have a new quest. 🥃
Distilery tours are on my list, too.
I have not tried both Blanton's before, but I am sure they will be very good. The cask strength diluted down to 50-52 abv in particular 🥃🥃
I have to rediscover Blantons...
Totally respect the lineage of this whisky but more of a Bakers, Buffalo Trace, Pappys person...and recently Rebel Yell 12 yr...let us know how the Blantons goes down...cheers!🥃
Baker's is quite too and Buffalo Trace 90 proof needs more proof.
Stagg jr is so far what I found most delicious, most spectacular. Rebel Yell 12 is a good suggestion🥃

At first I was reading the date 08-15-20 and I realized it must be an American producer, since it's not utilizing a European dating system. Then I figured out it was Blanton's as I scrolled down! I haven't had Blanton's before (at least not that I recall)...

And I'm not forgetful yet! 40mL seems like a very reasonable sized drink. If you like Macallan, try the new Macallan Edition #6. It's half the price of Macallan 18 and it's very easy to drink. Lots of candy notes of butterscotch and toffee with undertones...
