Agreed, although some styles are quite distinctive. I only had Tokami before Sato-san left and it was great, and it looks like his influence hasn't subsided at all :D I haven't checked out En, maybe the next chance I get to visit Tokyo! [nt]

Tokami, IWA and EN are the regular rotation. My personal view is that one doesn’t need to exceed these price points to be happy and satisfied. Plus, I will always get a seat at one of them.

and only went to one such sushi temple while there (Sushi Asanogawa in Kanazawa), but wow does that description and those pictures bring me back. Definitely one of the culinary highlights of my life so far!
