Yes... it's more of a charcoal color.
In fact the black label reminds me of the Ruthenium series without the sparkles.

The black dial on the DS doesn't seem very dark. It looks almost charcoal colored. Did you get a wrist shot of the G&PS? That would be THE ultimate wristshot! Thanks again!
