Will I ever wear another Journe?
I am joking of course, but it’s going to be a challenge.
My pendulum has swung much more towards the sporty Journe side in the last year or so. So much so I’d really think if I was to add another it may also be something sporty and casual. That won’t happen in the near term however as the Elegante is not for me and the current 44mm case (even without the lugs and it wearing like a 42mm) is too large for my wrist. But boy does the yellow dial look better and better every day.
For now, I’ll be content (I’m more than content actually) with this one.
Morning coffee stop (outside seat on a nice Spring morning) on the way to having to be inside for an hour or so (hence the double mask). This coffee shop was a regular for me but today is the first time I’ve been since February 2020. It’s still here, which is great. And foot traffic seems almost normal.

I’m wearing my split second titanium today. So comfortable and we’ve not really had the chances to wear the dressier pieces this last year.
Comfortable they are, which is why I grab it most often.
Also, I’ve always been a bigger fan of bracelets, despite the flexibility a strap gives.

I still think you should try the Elelgante ;-) I wasnt sure at first but it just grows and grows now. Regarding the yellow dial: Calling Tom!!!! Where are you mate????
I think the dials on the current Sport watches, including the Ratrapante, are visually more attractive to me. For the older pieces, Sport and regular sapphire gives the dial an extra bit of sportiness.
Not for everyone, but for some of us a dealbreaker without !
