... quite a few others say their Calendriers have worked flawlessly for years. So I guess it's hit or miss. When I sent mine back to FPJ for about the 3rd/4th/5th time (I can't remember, at this point), I asked that the movement be swapped. I was told that it is against FPJ's philosophy to do that. I then asked if they could just replace all parts involved with the month indicator, since that was the main problem, and they said that was agreeable (vs. a whole new movement). Because I've never had a problem with the timekeeping -- only the calendar -- I decided it was worth keeping. So as long as you can put up with the fact that the calendar might not always work well, it's still worth considering. I'm glad your CB is problem-free. I've heard only great things about the CB from lots of owners (which makes sense, since it's uncomplicated).
