I suspect not. It may be more or less impossible to replace the spring bar without ruining the strap. The issue probably does not arise often, as spring bar usually outlasts the strap.

The strap needs to be restitched to replace the spring bar, so it would require a strapmaker in any case. You are correct that in some (or perhaps even all) cases, it may not be possible to restitch since there is likely glue involved.

replacement parts like this should be readily available for purchase in my opinion... However there is the option of getting generic quick release spring bars and curving them slightly, not too difficult I would think and perhaps worth a try if you are no... 

Of all the watch brands I’ve owned, I’ve had mechanical trouble with only two: AP and FPJ, and in each case, more than once with the same watch. The AP customer service response was exemplary. The FPJ boutique (NYC) seemed more intent on pumping up the af... 

I've dealt with both FPJ ADs and boutiques directly and have only ever had good experiences. Every watch they sell has a warranty, so if there are any issues you're covered. Better yet, you get a much more personal response with FPJ compared to most other... 

But glad to hear someone’s experiences have been better than mine! As I said, I love the brand, but these are not particularly robust watches, so consistently favorable customer service is a must.

Sorry to hear about the AD. He should have helped you, of course. If you are still in London, go do down to Jean Rousseau. I’m sure they will help and probably give it to you for free.

I have spoken to JR NYC and they told me it is different. Their curved pin will not fit Journe's watches well.

Jean Rousseau cannot supply these bars, only FP Journe can (not the boutiques). They’re not plain spring bars either. They are a stepped tail type similar to what Patek uses. You can get them from Esslinger with this part number. They then require bending...  

Both In Paris and in London with these spring bars. No problem. I have also bought from ADM. no problem.

Example if I want a curved QR spring bar in 20mm, does that mean I have to get a longer straight QR spring bar? By bending/curving it does it become shorter ?

Instead of making it curved they had made it straight. They claimed that they could just curve it. They did, but once mounted there was a gap of at least a mm. I would guess a pin would be the same. However it would would be trial and error to see what wo... 

The difference when bent is very minimal.
