Some colour on an otherwise dull (and cold) Monday.

I had a long post written to pair with these pictures but in the ended I decided to omit it as may not be appropriate.

But the summary I will share; “even at the current market prices the CB is a justifiable purchase”, “so if you like it just go buy it and enjoy it”.

Now that is character. Where did you get the strap?

It’s Journe; they have endless options.

Just sometimes (or most times in the last several years) they don’t have any of those options in stock!

Fav color or colors?

It’s a quick change system?

Yes, quick change.

On this watch I do like this strap. Or orange, or grey. And I’ve seen some others here post the CB on a brown (not the tan, years ago everyone (me included) had the tan strap you see below on their CB). I rarely wear the watch on the navy gator it ships w...

Awesome!!! You are in luck Sir....

You have a true icon of the decade. Uber envious, wear it in good health!!!!

I was thinking about that today; watches of the last decade.

A separate thread maybe. But the CB perhaps should be part of that.

Well this a more,WIS, top ten list, something you can’t get...

Even before you knew you wanted to get it, now that, is an understated waitlist. Arguably, the best of them all.

Good god, what a strap colour

it works for me !! Always loved that FPJ

Haha, thanks. The CB can carry almost any strap and make it work. Bright yellow, green, orange, purple.....

....pretty much everything will work on this watch.

Great strap combo! [nt]

Makes me think about candy.

Did you take a position with Journe?

 By: TheMadDruid : January 20th, 2020-15:39
I believe you have the most varied collection of under(or in this case “over”)-the-radar Journe straps in two states. Or more.

Okay. Two Countries. [nt]

FYI Journe started offering calf straps since California is banning alligator/croc straps in 2020.

I wondered what the solution would be.

I’ve been seen a lot of calf being used by a certain reseller over the last several months and I have to say they look good. On the CB and others.

Thank you. A slightly more bold choice that the navy blue chosen by the manufacture to accompany the watch.

I can say I was inspired always by TJG and his endless stream of what I’ll call “Miami pastel” straps, blazers and trousers.

Great strap/dial combo

The strap that you have selected works great on the CB!

Sure! I don't do IG but I've heard. I was in actually in NYC looking at various blue skins...

... at Jean Rousseau last month. Didn't pull the trigger (yet) though. Took this pic of all their blue skins: ...

I was going to sell/trade mine, my AD said he would kill me. Lol So I decided to keep.

You like it or you don’t, from others I hear from and speak to there seems to be no middle ground on this watch.

I’m all in on the CB, have been since I first got it. It is the most versatile and pleasing (satisfying) watch I own. No question.
