I’ll tell you this. If I could tune back the hands of time, I would pick up one of the Nacre dials. Sometimes we don’t see the treasures right under our noses. In fact, that I’d one of the recent realizations from this hobby we share. To see beauty and value before it is too late is not that easy.

It’s time for our FPJ roll-cal, according to our forum tradition. So just jump in.... I will admit that I’m cheating today, as i was just wearing this piece briefly last Friday As FP let me look at it. But what an experience it was. It is an amazing watch...

HAGWE dear friend!
Absolutely my cup of tea, but out of my range I think, however

I have my eyes on the 2020 Resonance. Thank you for the picture and I look forward to reading your thoughts on this piece. The first generation UN astrological watches are what made me fall in love with horological masterpieces in the beginning so I have ...
Thank you so much, Ed :-)

It is aboslutely a fascinating piece and as you correctly say, the poetry in such a piece must be appreciated to like such a watch. More to come HAGWE

...
Indeed. The conception was long.

Don’t forget this is the work of one watch aker. No studio, no committee, no R&D department. FP took a long time to work on the vision of this piece and presents a real watch you can wear. (If one can afford it)
So nice, Jay.

And this one was 38mm (which is why I was looking at it at the time).
I don't see the point in posting a picture this week.
By: TheMadDruid : September 4th, 2020-07:33
I'm just going to hang out in my house and drool over your wrist. Well, what's on your wrist, anyway. And pretend that that's my wrist. And probably start drinking early. And fantasizing I'm Sean Connery in "Entrapment". Although I might get distracted by...
I knew there was a woman we both knew.
By: TheMadDruid : September 4th, 2020-12:10
I did. I'll have to rustle up a picture of her for future posting. Again, though, does no one see the face on the bottom half of the Astronomique? Am I crazy? Wait! Don't answer that.
Uuuuuh, Viken

Did you jump in? Such a great piece, and looks perfect on your wrist. HAGWE my friend 😊
Thank you!

Couldn't resist the temptation. I am super excited to own my first FPJ, my first manual Rattrapante and my first Monopoussoir. And, many thanks for your expertise and insight.
I tip my hat to you, Sir
By: ChristianDK : September 4th, 2020-10:58
Huge congratulations, Viken. I wish it will bring you many hours of happiness. As we discussed, I think this watch is something extraordinary and a classic in the making. Have a great weekend, my friend 😊👍
Thanks Jay...👍

No formal announcement but I snuck a couple pics into random threads a couple days ago and they flew under the radar. These ones were posted in honor of Francois-Paul Friday, my first official participation.
LOL, great idea

La vie une Rose. What a beautiful piece. HAGWE!
You got it!
By: ChristianDK : September 4th, 2020-10:52
It’s really spectacular. And I much prefer it to the blue Only Watch in terms of aesthetics.
And here is my shot for the day

I have a couple incoming straps which I am excited to share soon, including a new grey suede from FPJ courtesy of Isabella at the Miami boutique. ...
Great picture👌

What a perfect piece. I can’t wait to see the suede. I have been discussing it with Pierre. Can’t wait to see the outcome, so please post in when it gets to your wrist. HAGWE Christian

Oh, Ed, I was SO hoping you would drop by...
By: ChristianDK : September 4th, 2020-11:11
What a bomb to drop 😄👌 . You recent post made me revisit this piece at Montres Journe last week. I will write a new post about it soon. It’s a dividing piece in the FPJ collection but highly original and a what could reasonably be categorized as on of the...
Yes, true!

This is my grail watch, can’t stop admiring it. I was fortunate to see up close the “prototype” at my AD’s boutique for Only Watch Auction. Sorry for the poor quality pics, I was not in control of the lighting conditions inside the boutique. ...
