Should be all questions you can answer yourself...

Welcome newbie! If you're in a position to consider acquiring an FP Journe, you are probably a fairly successful guy. I could be wrong and maybe you just won big at a casino, but chances are this is not the first big decision you had to make.
For question 1, if you're able to be successful in business without seeing what you're buying, then you should have no problem here.
Question 2, you're asking people who've never met you about aesthetics and proportions. We don't even know how large your wrist is (this is assuming those with larger wrists may look better with larger watches and there is a segment of the population with large wrists whom prefer small watches). You're just going to get opinions that aren't tailored for you here. Everyone's got an opinion; but it's hardly tailored for you at all.
Question 3, again, if you're in the position to acquire an FP Journe, you've probably made bigger strategic decisions than this. There are pros and cons to each and you have to assign the weighted value to those pros/cons to make your final decision. Relying on others who have never met you and who don't know you and your values is going to be the mistake. I always recommend getting the full experience at a boutique, but many disagree with me saying that enjoying the parties at your local AD has its benefits. Ultimately it depends on your lifestyle, if you travel frequently and don't mind flying out to events at the boutique, then I'd go boutique.
I highly recommend that you come up with your own conclusions for these questions. All of your questions are opinion-based, and like the nature of the best, opinions vary widely. Again, welcome to WatchProSite and congrats on the dilemma!
