F.P. Journe

Octo means Eight

And therefore - eight times as much - with quite a llittle bit of of luck!.

But, more seriously, let's ask how well is it performing, worn and unworn in six positions and more during the day and over a month. Fantasiticallly well!, please rest assured! I can give you only a vague impression - I could actually tell you! - but it would be just one example in my particular location and often uncomfortable climate (rapidly changes of air pressure and humidity) in this location of the European North - Hamburg. According to a local report in the German publication "Chronus" it is now F.P. Journe's personal wearing favorite!!!

If only there were not the Richard Lange, with which I could navigate across the entire globe, equipped with nothing more than a glass and a drinking straw - and a pair of hands - one wearing of course the Watch. Try to reach + 0.40 sec average per day, without any deviation during a day, in whatever angle, position or state of body and mind you happen to be in, and all that within 25 days! - which is almost as long as I've had it ticking! So if accuracy is your game, go for it ... Everything else says, get one immediately - or while youz have the chance!

My CS requires some personal position adjustment , vertical and horizontal - for a second to at most three day.

But please remember, this is no endorsement of one over the other. I find them both - astonishing and great! And beautiful!!!

The Octas are very accurate, if one does not stare at the seconds hand day after day, making the time checks that I do. I have both the Chrono and the Calendrie .- with both fighting for wrist time, and both mostly with each other! When not stirring a soup ...
