Francois-Paul Friday. Are You ready to go commando?

 By: ChristianDK : February 5th, 2021-05:10
It’s Friday and freezing cold here. So cold I’m actually enjoying wearing a face mask outside😜 Despite the cold I decided to go commando 😬 Question is now - what FPJ are you wearing? I wish you all a fantastic weekend. Let the fun begin! Christian ...

My kind of man! HAGWE my friend!

Will be sporty today, like Mo and I guess like you and Alex too.

The Elegante is pretty sporty too. ...

I guess we are sporty guys 😁

 By: ChristianDK : February 6th, 2021-21:47
There certainly is an appeal to this sporty genre. A lighter, more dynamic style I have come to appreciate more in the last year. It’s an interesting thing as we have talked about before. I can’t deny something has pushed my taste in this direction during...

Happy F.P. Friday...😃

He got something very right with this Havana dial.

Blue greetings from Grey Frankfurt!

CSD on an olive strap works great.. ...

First time seeing one off the strap it was delivered with.

 By: Jay (Eire) : February 5th, 2021-13:44
I suspected it would be “better” (subjective opinion) on something duller and I think your photo backs that up.

Here’s another shot..

 By: Warnerbw : February 5th, 2021-14:19
The more subtle strap really gives it a different feel.. I tried a couple different colors, the olive strap balances the dial color (vrs the original green strap that makes the dial look a lot brighter) ...

The dial looks a lot less comical, I love it.

 By: Jay (Eire) : February 5th, 2021-15:43
The CB can work with loud straps as it’s dial is only loud in certain light. But it seems this dial needs a contrast with the strap as you say.

Much better color combination.

 By: ChristianDK : February 6th, 2021-21:55
I love the applied numerals on this dial. I think They really elevate it.

The olive strap is great

Much better than the original one, to me. Fantastic picture!

Childminding duties! ...

Brave man, or well-mannered kids!

 By: Journe1304 : February 6th, 2021-17:27
I don’t think I’m brave enough to wear such a beautiful dress to the playground with the kids. Or maybe it’s just my kids; they wreck everything they can! Either way, I’ve adjusted my approach accordingly...(photo obviously taken when it wasn’t freezing o...

Me neither!

Pushing the swing was a particularly stressful affair. Beautiful piece by the way!

every watch-loving father’s worst nightmare!

Cool image. We need to live with these watches.

 By: ChristianDK : February 6th, 2021-22:03
I’ve always loved how you just use this watch. Pampering gets too stressful. I always have to be careful what I wear around my youngest. Both in terms of watches and clothes. He is hurricane and he has made more than one scratch on my watches.

Thank you!

 By: Journe1304 : February 7th, 2021-17:25
I have to admit that it originated with my Panerai getting very chewed up over the course of playing with my kids, and then I let go of the worry more broadly and am better able to enjoy both my watches and my kids!

Yes. We have to LIVE!

 By: ChristianDK : February 7th, 2021-21:20
I do admit, I have a few pieces in my box that I keep for safer occasions. Generally I see scratches as something natural and I hate to see how polishing washes away the contours of a watch case. I would much prefer the scratches.

CO in the snow!!

Happy Friday gents! ...

That is a stunning image. I love the CO

Are you skiing? HAGWE my friend

Dearest Ed! Good to hear 👍

 By: ChristianDK : February 6th, 2021-22:09
Which one did you go for? The Elegante has the quick change pins as well. You need a small strap change tool to push it as it is sitting into the strap. It is not a real problem though. You could fit a generic leather strap If you wished to. HAGWE buddy!

That’s the one I got as well.

 By: ChristianDK : February 7th, 2021-21:15
I love the color of the polished titanium and the mix of brushed and polished surfaces catches the light in I really nice way. I think you will enjoy the lightness and the fit of the case. I compare it to putting on sneakers after having worn a pair of go...

Thank you so much.

 By: ChristianDK : February 6th, 2021-22:11
It’s an easy one to wear. Like sneakers. HAGWE!
