It's nice, but I think a lot of people are too generous in their comments about it.

You asked for owner feedback and the above is my owner feedback.
Overall, I find it to be a very nice timepiece. But some people are making it sound like it's better than a tradition FP Journe timepiece. I would disagree, it's different, but it's not better. Better for some who have specific needs, but not better for all. Is it a good watch for the money? Even that's debate-able. Do I enjoy wearing it? Yes, I do. I worry less about it, I know that the time is accurate and the watch hasn't stopped and lost time, and it's overall an enjoyable watch.
The watch has met all of my expectations but it hasn't really exceeded them. Yes, the movement finishing is nice for a Quartz movement, but for this price point I expect it to be.
This is my first fine quartz watch. I'm worried about the battery leaking. When the battery runs low, how will I know to replace it? Some quartz watches start jumping 2-3 second large jumps to show that the battery is weak. The owners manual doesn't state how one can tell or if there is any special operation. I guess I'll find out in 10 years...

Are you happy with your watch? Any owners feedback on the Elegante for a prospective buyer like me?
I picked up the watch today

The Elegante fits very well. I am fussy when it comes to wrist fit, and my wrist is rather small (typically I use the widest hole of a short Male strap, or the narrowest hole of a regular Male strap). The watch reassures me that it's there. Put another wa...
Well no, above comments are quite fair

There is much to like about mechanical watches, and I would presume every Elegante owner has got a few mechanical watches too. Chk
Very likely that an Elegante owner has more than one mechanical watch!

In fact, the last time I asked at SIHH 2019, a very large percentage of Elegante owners were existing FPJ clients. There were still newcomers to the brand and this was no small percentage too. Just goes to say that FPJ is able to enter a new market niche ...
I kinda agree with you. I wouldn't mind a traditional FPJ timepiece,

But my wife would kick me in the head for spending this kinda money during coronavirus, and I would become a suffering Simpsons or Southpark character. That said i don't worry about leaking batteries. I trust FPJ has sourced a good one, and FPJ aside a lo...
Maybe I'm paranoid about leaking batteries...

A lovely lady I know showed me her visibly destroyed Cartier when the battery leaked, you could see the dial was changing. She was distraught, but we went to Cartier together to see what could be done. Cartier had to replace the dial, the movement, the cr...
Thank you!

I have hoped to keep fewer watches, but could not resist this one. I took about 3 seconds between trying it on and going "yup, may I place an order for one of these?" Most of my questions to the boutique had to do with delivery, buckle and strap choice in...
Perfect casual elegance

This watch is so cool. Elegant and easy going. The strap color underlines that well. The blue is nice as well but also adds more contrast. I have a personal preference for the grey one.
