It's a funny one this one, as are all the Vagabondage series.

Really need to see them in the metal to form an opinion. Even with this second of the series I think the difference between the Platinum and Gold is significant (and then there's the baguette version which is something very different again).

Dial or no dial ?

Well, at the very least we do have a seconds sub-dial. Was thinking about this one today as it seems like we might see some exposed discs and perhaps a smoked or tinted crystal in another non round watch this week (Reverso). At least that seems to be the ...

Nice pic! I love this watch!

Especially with that camo strap.👍

Thanks Bill.

I put it on that strap at least 4 years ago now and honestly have never had any desire to swap it out.

Im usually not a fan of "no dial" but for this one its a definite exception.

I think it used to be the coolest thing that you could sense all the gears and creating a technical and complex expression. These days, I prefer a well composed dial with a nice texture, color, engraving. Something refined. A good example is the FPJ Repet...

sublime piece

really love everything about this piece... the gold hue, the strap, the wear, the charm... enjoy and thanks for sharing!

Thanks Keks. What’s nice about this one, to me, is that there’s just the right amount of gold to appreciate the warmth while not making it magnet for other’s eyes.

The smoked crystal dulls the whole package down, which was obviously needed visually to make the front of the watch work (hiding the plate a little, which would have been way too much gold on display if a clear crystal was used). But I think this had the ...

Ahhhh so much to appreciate! Never appreciated that the VBII was “no dial”....

Classic FPJ

This is an amazing design and was far ahead of its time when launched. The vagabondage II to me represents a more balanced design compared with the Vagabondage I and III. My only question is whether the watch is robust from the perspective of it being a d...

I’ve never heard of any service issues.

I may not be the best source as I rarely (maybe never) have worn this piece on consecutive days. That said, could it be a daily watch? I think so. For most people it’s far more practical than the ZW simply because of the smaller (more wearable) case size....
