It does hav a similar pattern, but in wood 😲

What is interesting is also how different they are. I was able to see two side by side. One was great the other a little less so. It’s the same as with the MOP dials. Some specimens are extraordinarily beautiful while others just don’t appeal or are just ...

Perhaps 1 of the most unusual dial material in watch making

and have seen the making of video although I’m unsure why this one has a horizontal ‘join’ (?) in the lower half of the dial.

I believe the joint is where they fold-opened the circular gun barrel
