I got it from boutique! I’m not aware there was any waiting this for this model? But truth to be told - their pieces are gone really quickly. I dropped by the boutique last Friday and the elegants were still there! Don’t hesitate :) [nt]

Considering an FP Journe Elegante 48

 By: JTCL : August 10th, 2019-22:12
I am very tempted to add the elegante to my collection but while browsing threads relating to the watch, I found out there were issues regarding the rotor and time resetting. I wonder if this issue has been solved by the manufacture. Any owners can give m...

That is radioactive!

Thank you for your input Tlph. Lovely to have the opinion of a fellow HK collector too, did you purchase yours from the boutique and did you have to be on a waiting list?

Thank you!

I dropped by the boutique yesterday and I've been told there is a 3 month waiting list, and a deposit needs to be paid. In other news, I tried on a "sample" and loved it even more! Can't wait to join the elegante club soon

I am also looking to buy a Elegante 48 .

Hope you can get one soon as well!

No issues for the past 1 month

Like you, I have read about similar issues of the Elegante but decided to go ahead with the 48mm Elegante Titalyt. The lume in the dial is a peach and watch fits the wrist nicely. No issues for the past 1 month, but finger crossed. ...

Gorgeous!

Congrats on the piece and that is very good news. I am currently deciding between the titanium one or the titalyt version.. how did you pick yours?

Thanks!

I prefer the Titalyt’s matte finish and I read that it’s more scratch resistant.

been wearing mine on and off

for a few months. No issues so far. Great summer watch, interesting as a regular wear watch. ...

Indeed

Thank you for your feedback batholith! Love the matching dial and pool The way I see it, the titalyt version is more cool and casual, whereas the titanium one is suitable even for the corporate environment. Decisions...

My pleasure

You're right, it certainly is a very casual watch. I wouldn't wear it to the office or with formal wear.

What a strap

Thank you cmmnsens, I love your combo btw! I wonder if it might even work with a leather strap 😅

Interesting

Not how I imagined, but thanks!

Thanks! I'm sure a leather strap would work, especially with the Titanium finished case. I prefer the rubber strap though.

I wasn't so keen on the titanium finish and the Titalyt is what convinced me to go for this watch. It makes the experience different from my other Journes. It stands out on its own. Looking forward to what you end up with.

I agree

The Titalyt is so so attractive, but I have pieces that fill the summer/backed out watches void already so like you I'm trying to add a new dimension to my collection with the elegante. Leaning towards the titanium finish but we shall see 😎

I went into the NYC boutique, no waiting list

I tried on the darker version. He could sell it from stock, the lighter titanium would take two weeks. I just found it a little small for me. I had on an ap 26320 and the journe 48 was much smaller.

Hmmm

I was told by the HK boutique that it'll be three months of waiting and a deposit to get the elegante, but from what you say I am suspecting if that is entirely the truth. Anyway I tried it on and it fits well given that my wrist is on the smaller side. T...
