There are a lot of photos that show a very different dial, in person 90% of the time it’s really muted.

The thing is, the strap always pops while the dial doesn’t.
It is probably the best combination when the dial is muted, as it is most of the time. As I’ve said before, the CB can take almost anything in terms of strap colour. Brown looks good, the original favourite 2nd choice of all of us was the Tan, Orange, Red...

It happens, and at that point they were easily replicable well below retail and so I can understand letting it go knowing it could be had again.
Nobody could have predicted that this watch would find the momentum it has, it’s just one of those things. I know many collectors who have bought and sold and bought and sold and bought again the same watch. Maybe this one comes back to you.
