FPJ in Germany?

Aug 24, 2019,04:21 AM

Hi all,

A long time FPJ fan, I purchased a Chrono Bleu while living & working in Geneva. I moved to Frankfurt/Germany a few months ago and can't find anyone wearing a FPJ. As a matter of fact, I also haven't found anybody passionate enough to spend a diner talking watches...

Would anybody have a lead or contacts?

Thanks a lot! Patrick Karcher

Concerning FPJ in Germany: there have been dealers but so many years back. As at the start of company there were so many quality issues ( Statement from AD in Germany)they abandoned the brand. Don’t know why they didn’t re enter later. Br, Dirk

Thanks Dirk, I will be patient!

I am obviously very happy to meet any 'watch-nerd' in Frankfurt or nearby - willing to talk watches & watch movements for a complete diner! Maybe I should post in the general forum in a few days if not heard back via here...

If you ever come to Denmark I would gladly meet you.

I realize it is not Germany but we are neighbours br Christian DK

Germany seems to be difficult regarding Independents in general

There are ADs for lower and mid priced Independent brands, but pretty much none for any high end Independents. Not Just FPJ, but also Laurent Ferrier and Others. Don't know why.

That's what I observe indeed

I am guessing that for buying hard core, high end independents such as Kari, Grönefeld, Akrivia, MB&F, Laurent Ferrier, etc you gladly travel to the respective Manufacture and meet the guys themselves. But I think there is potential to find watch connoiss...

If Belgium is not to far for you
