One for spring/summer and one for fall/winter or just fun to mix and match. Both colors represent both my Alma maters which is nice and probably a subconscious choice. Of course I could always go with the OEM blue gator but these 2 just personalizes the C...

Indeed they would. The aging or distressed look is very appealing and gives the leather hide a nice depth which is touch to capture in photos. In real life, it looks very cool with a more 3D effect 👍

Thanks for your input. I am pretty sure you could pull off the crimson/cardinal red gator. It actually looks darker IRL. The khaki grey is definitely more versatile and conservative 😉

I agree that the khaki/grey nubuck is more versatile and also more conservative compared to the cardinal red gator Andreas. Blue & white = Yale , Cardinal and white = Stanford 😁

That's the point Mahesh. With the OEM blue strap, I think the CB is a bit monotone with the dial so having the khaki grey and cardinal red gators gives the dial and case more contrast 😉

I was first introduced to special tanning nubuck in my favorite Panerai strap (so called JV Tan) love the look then and it looks great now on your CB!

I remember the JV straps well. Indeed the special tanning process has made some exceptionally good looking hides 😉🙏
