I found an old picture I took on the watchmakers work bench of Grande Sonnerie during construction. Apologies for the not so great resolution. However you get a feeling for the intriguing and complex construction of this movement. ...

Beautiful shot. [nt]

I have no idea what all these unusual movement parts are doing but it definately shows a how complex and delicate this machine is. Deus ex machina!

Great movement ...

My Favourite FPJ Movement

This is a stunning movement and by far the most impressive looking, especially when activated... at least in my opinion

Stunning and impressive ...

And a great Sonnerie chime! I was actually thinking about you when I posted it, because of our previous tread about the CA Please tell us why it is your favorite FPJ movement? Best Christian

It's Pure Journe... Function first, and Child Proof :)

The fact he designed the movement with a child in mind makes this watch, as it's literally child proof. Plus, it is a pure joy to watch when the chime is activated, as the movement becomes alive, more so than any other piece in his collection. And of cour...

Those are three very good reasons indeed!!!

I fully concur. I am particularly impressed with the size and and the reliability of such a complication. My favorite is still the Resonance but you present a very good reason for this one. Thanks for chiming in. LOL šŸ˜†

I wish the company released more videos like this and used a more up to date video style when releasing new pieces (their latest one for the AS was the same as past ones).

I really agree.

Iā€™m sure they post a loft of money in to the computer animated videos. However I enjoy this type as well as real filming of the watches much more. I will pass on your great input!

Very nice ! Cut down to the bare minimum , Journe style ...
