I've been hearing some rumors swirling around about the discontinuation of the Chronometre Bleu, including that its off the price list for 2021. Is there any merit to this?

It’s not discontinued.
It’s already off the list in the sense that you can’t get on a wait list any more.

Indeed no longer in the price list and in fact those on the list ( a list they closed when it reached 7 years) probably won’t get one. Only the very well known clients who already own A LOT will be able to order one if they want and already don’t have one...
Sad to hear these things my friend.
Its a good position looking at there perspective but not for true watch collectors imho .

I informed august 2019 if I could get one. I had never bought a Journe before. Had a great chat with the store owner. Almost don’t dare to say it ... but 8 weeks later I got a call. “We have one and it’s yours” I think I asked 5 times “ are you serious?”....

No need to answer if you would like to keep it private. What boutique did you visit to have such a pleasant exchange with the owner?
