A quick GTG with our dear Christian and his superb Chronomètre Souverain in Tantalum Blue.
There are not too many tantalum watches in the market.
I have a huge fascination for this metal, due to its bewitching grey blue hue. Add a superb manual winding movement, and you have a great watch.
Another good point, the blue dial, which works very nicely with the tantalum case.
The feast for the eyes, the movement.

equally i love the simplicity of the dial - a cross over between dress & casual watch !!
Not to mention very nice dimensions for the case.
It’s really a great package, for those of us that want a slim (ish) watch with good proportions BUT without any formality. I keep looking at the CS line and have yet to find a model which could serve the same purpose. Whether it’s the metals (PT and RG) o...
