I’m curious to see the texture of the dial. It looks quite granular in the press release.

I love this one. A small fun detail is that this one was built by Mr Journe Personally. It had its first service last year.

I'm surprised they didn't swap out the old second hand, which they did to mine did you ask them not to? I wish I could get mine back...

Did they say why?

According to ACM's articles, FPJ factories would typically just swap out the old seconds hands when they are in for a service. And this was what happened to mine. I think they know to give yours a special treatment. You're one lucky man. " The collector ... 

I just compared the seconds hand to those on my 2005 Resonance. To the naked eye the difference is tiny. Mine had the date issue as well but I just lived with it. In the end the watch started to run irregular. I was a bit scared to have it serviced. My ma... 

When you finally brought it in for service, did you ask them to preserve as much as possible? That could be why

The only thing I was very strict about was NO polishing. I feel quite strongly about this point!

I didn't ask them to NOT polish. Now I wonder if I have some Platinum that got polished away... But still, it's great you didn't get your seconds hand swapped out. Hope you can continue to keep yours intact for as you keep passing yours down the next 10 g...

The crown is bigger. A clue for the most obvious one..... can be found in the measurements....;-) ;-)

When FP launched his forst pieces they where only available in 38mm. the forst 40mm cases where the the Limited edition Ruthinium Ruthinium Collection. The first regular production piece in 40 mm was the Chronometre Souverain which was introduced in 40mm ... 

He has done yellow dials before but this one will be really nice 👍

I'm surprised it's 10mm thick. FPJ's watches usually look rather thin in person. One of the many reasons why I like them so much!

Amazing... Journe is not only a master of watches, but one of design.

Both in design of the movements and the cases. I concur. It’s something I am always looking for if I want to buy a watch, no matter what the brand is. For me it has to do with balance and comfort. The watch has to feel like it’s “part of the wrist”. ... 

Although I would love a yellow gold dial. They are gorgeous!

Both of these are so charming. Collectors who are going to get the new limited edition are so lucky. I applied but highly unlikely to get. Really love the yellow gold dial. Absolutely unique to Journe.

I have not commented yet because I ordered one immediately and was nervous about getting it but now I feel confidant one is coming my way, fingers crossed. I’m also still waiting on the confirmed Resonance but FPJ, like most others, had issues because of ... 

In fact, I was told that FPJ hasn't even started the selection process and it might boil down to a lottery. However, don't quote me on any of this as no decision has been made yet.

So many people want this one but just little of them can actually get this one. Lottery should be good way to relieve those people who are unhappy.
