This Elegante drinks Pomerol Merlot, out of German crystal glasses! Very nice! Did you use the corkscrew to get the cork out or did you use the two pronged "cork pull" to get the cork out? Very nice Elegante, my Titalyt version says hello.

It was surprisingly firm in the cork. The tip broke off but was easy to salvage. I was surprised how much vitality was still in this wine. Certainly not over aged. Very well structured taste. Notes of acidic fruits but these where fleeting and changing wh...

I have the Burgundy and the Bordeaux models as well. It’s amazing how the shape of the glass alters the sensation. I used to think it was nonsense. Now I’m a firm believer in matching the best glass for the wine. Thank you so much for your kind words word...

He focused only on French wine. Mostly Bordeaux. My father was very interested in South African and South American wine in the80’ies and 90’ties. There was so much going on there back then and my parents traveled extensively to vineyards in both continent...

I’m a big fan of the yellow dial too, I have thought more than once in the last year or so about the Automatique Reserve.

I tried the Octa Automatique. that is serieously nice as well. It could well be a very good candidate for a dily casual piece. The Pt is a killer! ...
