And Im thinking, it was aclever way to introduce this watch! He certainly got everyones attention with the auction.

Anyone else disappointed it didn't cross $2M?

 By: IndieFan : November 9th, 2019-14:49
I was hoping the Astronomic would cross the $2M mark as it's certainly not 1/15th of the watch that beast of a Patek is!

Not me. It is a new record for FPJ by a large margin.

 By: ChristianDK : November 9th, 2019-23:11
In relation to the Patek, I’m not sure what happened There?. The watch already exists in the collection and is just a different dial and a steel case.

It's a Patek :)

Even if they made simple steel 5711 with salmon dial for this auction it will surpass all the supercomplication of other brands and gone for 3-4 millions for sure... made this with grand complication and 10+ million is granted...

Complication, history and horology wise, then HG SC must be 40+...

but lets not forget we live in a SSsalmon world today ...

Steel+Salmon
