Perfectly complimented by the cinnemon roll LOL ;-) I only realised how cool this watch is after I was lucky to see two at a dealer in the US. The closer you get - the better!!!! A miniature painting.

The roll would be good :)

Journe selected this themselves for an important collector as the best example there was. In their opinion. And now I am lucky enough to have it. ...

Very lucky indeed. Some of the dials I’ve seen are really not that appealing, but this one is.

It’d be interesting to see a few of them together, to see the variations. I’ve only seen the few examples and in each case it was the only one present so no chance to compare.

One thing I have noticed

Of the ones I have seen. All the ones from the smaller barrel (28 pieces) are far inferior in patterning than those from the larger barrel (38 pieces). Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, of course. However, that’s my view.

agreed

As an owner of a /28, based on available pics of the /38 out there, I agree. Nevertheless still a stunning piece.

welp...

I just saw a /28 that is stunning. So, I'm forced to say that it's still up to the individual piece even if perhaps the /38 have more dials with "better" patterning.

Magic dial

I was agree with you but since I have my XX/28 I find this edition very interresting because of this fact not perfect what can show some particurities like a venitian mask ... (for me ) ...

Wow wow wow

Beauty in the eye of the owner / beholder! Each is unique - love that mask hidden in your dial!

That’s interesting.

I’d not had any interest in this piece so never followed the release data or any of the other details. But now when I see them I need to take note of which one (barrel) was the source.

Beautiful damascus work! The ‘folding’ of the

Very nice!
