That’s super helpful. I think my wrist may even be a bit smaller across the top than yours, although I need to measure to be sure. I’m thinking more and more the 40mm is the right one for me between the two.
Wish they made a medium sized model....

Elegante Questions

Question for the group...I eventually want to purchase an elegante and wanted to get peoples thoughts on which size would fit me better. I have a 6” wrist and have tried the 40mm version on in person. It’s small, but so is my wrist. I’ve never tried the 4...

Stick to the 40mm version!

I have a small wrist (6.5 inches) and the 40mm Elegante fits me well. Please note that a rectangular or torneau shaped watch would always wear larger than a equivalent sized round watch. ...

I have a 6.5” wrist

I have the 48 and fits perfectly. If you own a 40mm Journe dress watch that fits your wrist, the 48 will be perfect as the lug to lug length is the same. ...

Thanks for the comments so far...

At 6” my wrist is pretty small. My 38mm Octa Lune fits perfect but the 39mm CB is about as big as I feel I can go. I just wish there was a dealer or something in Chicago that even had one for sale in any 48mm variant to try on. It’s just so hard to know h...

Just to add to what I said below based on these pictures as we have similar watches (38mm, 39mm Journe, Nautilus).

I find the 39mm CB to be perfect for me, 40mm Journe begins to be edging towards not perfect. The Nautilus (5711 in my case) works well and it\s almost a perfect watch (in terms of wrist fit/feel and how it looks). That’s some additional context for my “g...

I Think, looking at these pictures You should consider the 40

It also sits more proud on the vrist than a Nautilus. An other good reason is that the waitng list for the 48 mm has closed. You could be more lucky with the 40 mm. Call one of the Journe Boutiques near You and ask if they Can locate one.

Thanks...

So far haven’t found a 40 either. Boutique has been helpful so far.

Thanks!

It’s hard with not being able to try it on also. I like the titalyt 40mm but can’t even seem to find one of those to take a look at for sale.

Same wrist size, same ambivalence

My wrist is 2" top/bottom and 1" on the sides. See below. I tried the various Elegante sizes pre-pandemic and found that the big one felt too big but the small one felt too small. I decided to wait a while and revisit. If I were you, I wouldn't pull the t...

A medium size would be great!

Hopefully you won't find the 40mm to be too small. Please post a follow-up if you end up pursuing either of the two existing options!
