and your choices were platinum, grey dial Optimum or platinum grey dial Centigraphe, which would you choose? Exquisite time only chronometer or superbly unique chronograph? I tried on the 42mm Optimum today and the 40mm would fit much nicer. The case was ...  

Both are unique and great choices.

I dont know if you already know. But the Centigraphe was discontinued the end of last year. So that would probably be last call if you want to buy it new. I am a huge fan of that watch. I find it both beautiful, a higly original take on a chronograph and ... 

I didn’t know that the centigraphe was going to be discontinued. That makes a possible decision even more difficult.

That wasn’t what I intended. It has already been discontinued , but it will continue as the the Centigraphe II, in the Sport collection. You can see it on the website. We have an other moderator here on the forum, who always says get both! ;-) I’m quite s... 

But both are great choices and you can’t go wrong
