Anyone know detail about this? I’ve heard recent CB’s have a different dial vs original, due to a change in manufacturing related to bringing in house.

It is news to me that there are different hues

but let’s see what others have to say. The dial is developed from an idea by Mr Journe but technically by the manger of the FPJ dial manufacture called Les Cadraniers de Genève. Cadraniers was previously co owned with Vacheron Constantin but is now fully ...

Right aware of this

Heard that there may have been a movement from this production into the main factory. Again could be totally untrue.

The most I've ever had at once are 3, and there are slight differences

The main thing I've noticed is that the shade of the numerals varies from a nearly pure white to a bit more yellowy white. It's not dramatic at all and you'd never notice unless you had two next to each other.

Yes the white I’ve noticed as well

The first ever I saw was like rich cream, a slight yellow. While mine is more white. I also remember the paint on the hands as thicker width more of a “Bombe” effect on mine. This is not unlikely, since the hands are spray painted by hand.

Hmm

I think the hands/print color variance has always been. I am referring to the dial blue/black chrome result. Perhaps fewer layers of lacquer resulting in a “flatter” appearance i.e. more basic. Perhaps not - this could just be untrue.
