I bet there is a pin on each side of the rounded part of the 6

The tail of the 6 probably just sits free and it looks like if turned the other way around it would sit correctly in position with the other numerals. Save the correspondence with Journe confirming it is legit and don’t let anyone touch it! Will be worth big bucks.

‘69er’ CS

Hi everyone, happy FPJ Friday!! wanted to share something interesting, a group of my watch buddies coined it the ‘69er’ 😂 CS with the group. Wasn’t until a couple months into ownership that I discovered the ‘6’ was flipped upside down. It was pointed out ...

Wow I can't believe FPJ would make a mistake like that

With that said, this is probably one of the best mistakes I've seen. If it's anything like a "mistake Rolex" it's gonna be worth a lot more than average. Seems to be aligned improperly too, I wonder what happened.

I had commented when you posted this elsewhere; I still can’t believe an error like this was made.

Both incorrect orientation AND positioning. Two obvious QC errors. I can’t remember what you said in response to your post elsewhere but is this watch new to you? Directly from Boutique/ AD ?

Yes it was purchased by me directly from an AD.

I reached out to Geneva and they confirmed it to be an incorrect dial. I was offered the correct replacement dial if I wanted.

I did not ask

I’m thinking they probably did not know

That’s really poor imo, that both Journe and the AD didn’t see that the placement was off is unbelievable to me.

It being upside down is perhaps excusable to the AD, but again not Journe. Surely the holes on the dial for the applied numerals are not manually lined up. I’m very curious as to how this happened.

On the back of the numeral do not sit on the centerline of the numeral. Also that the dial has corresponding hole(s) so that when the numeral is placed “right side up”/ correctly the numeral will be positioned on the dial in the intended place. To ensure ...

I saw your post on the other forum.

Hi All, As error dials go I think this is the best possible outcome. It almost looks intentional that the 6 is right side up. I don’t think many would notice without it being pointed out. And to think this is only possible because Journe recently switched...
