Even the web site states that it's a quartz movement...but that doesn't take away from the fact that I have been thinking about buying this watch for more than a year now.

I’m not sure
By: NML77 : June 17th, 2019-15:58
Hopefully not too long. I ordered short straps and that may delay the process

Got the short straps at first
By: cmmnsens : June 17th, 2019-18:28
Ended up being too short. Back to mediums for me.

I like the Elegante collection very much. Unfortunately, I cannot quite come to terms with the fact that they have a quartz movement, albeit a beautifully finished one. [nt]

According to FP its actually got a lot of traditional watchmaking (mechanical) to it
By: cmmnsens : June 16th, 2019-05:06
It’s not a quartz in the traditional sense.

It is a quartz movement
By: cmmnsens : June 16th, 2019-08:05
My point is that it’s not a quartz movement in the general sense. There’s a lot more “mechanical” in it than perceived.

The original Elégante 48 in titanium with the dark blue strap.
By: LX (Alex) : June 17th, 2019-11:29
...but I just can't get over how the "movement" looks... If this were a time-only mechanical watch, I wouldn't hesitate.
