boutiques may have the same response

First off, note there is a separate FPJ board on this forum.
Second, unfortunately, FPJ boutiques may have the same response worldwide as your AD. In the USA, the FPJ boutiques will not supply the OEM spring bars directly to end consumers; even in the case of custom strap orders, the orders have to be placed through the boutiques. Now, to be fair, you would need to have a strapmaker repair your strap since it would require restitching - so I do wonder if a replacement spring bar could be coordinated through an FPJ boutique and sent to whatever strapmaker you would have repair your strap.
I do agree that this is quite customer-unfriendly and I've complained about it in the past. I've even said I'd be happy to pay off whatever cut the boutique takes on custom strap orders just so I can deal with the strapmaker of my choice directly. It's not how they should be treating anyone who buys one of their watches (and I'm a Circle member, at that).
As an alternative, our member hub6152 has posted that Esslinger makes a quick-release spring bar that is correctly sized for FPJ, but must be curved. Please see the thread:

Finally, the Jean Rousseau boutique in London will curve spring bars to fit FPJ (I asked last time I was there). Jean Rousseau is a very good strap maker (my personal go-to for customs, although I use the NYC boutique) and they are the usual partner for customs for the USA FPJ boutiques.
