and glad to hear you didn’t encounter further issues. I’m always surprised when spring bars are used on high end pieces but seems to be mostly the norm. Screws/bolts to the bars are my preferred but probably not achievable with curved bars. Enjoy your str... 

Yes, I was a bit shocked to realize the problems with the first set of straps/spring bars. I have tried dropping my CB once before - and paying for the ensuing repair. Never tried anything other than spring bars and never had any problems with them. Claus... 

We put a lot of responsibilitiy in those spring bars. Something to think about before just Putting “what ever” on your watch!

But they don’t come with a buckle. What buckle do you use? My other concern is not securing the buckle properly and suddenly introducing my watch to the floor. Can anybody explain how they do it?

The buckle is secured on the strap with a spring bar that fits into holes in the buckle itself. When you move the buckle from one strap to the other, you’re able to check and doublecheck that it is securely fastened. I used my strap changing tool to move ...  

Another option is to get a second buckle. I didn’t want to use a non-matching gold or platinum buckle for my CB, so I was disappointed to hear they wouldn’t sell me one separately...until they did! So now I can simply swap straps without having to mess wi...

Just got 4 of these from ACM as well with the new spring bars.

Just today I ordered the gray Helsinki as well. Looking forward to it, especially in these more casual work-from-home times!

They looks much more everyday-wear to my liking. IMO a denim strap might also worth a try.

Are they official FPJ supplier of straps? Would love to get an orange strap for my CB. Nice straps, OP.
