When busses were cool 🚌
On a walk with the family today I came across a truly surprising sight - an old French bus was parked in a private yard. Maybe some of the members can recognize it - the only thing that seems clear is that one of the stations was a mental health clinic 😊
The vehicle just somehow possesses a sense of cool that more modern specimens of the kind are sorely lacking.
I can only imagine the hard work driving one…

Apparently there used to be an intercity bus service in the UK in the 1960s / 1970s that was running at 100mph (prior to the speed limits) but was discontinued as the constant wear on the brakes made it too expensive 🤷🏻♂️

The car speed must have been slow compared to today's standard which allowed passengers to hop on . I like how the windows, too.
The hop on hop off buses were still in operation in London when I was a student…
And the traffic speed was low enough 😊

An Italian bus would be more expected in the region but a French one was a thorough surprise 😱
