Ulysse Nardin Perpetual Calendar GMT, Platinum.
Which I had the pleasure to own, some 20 years ago, but which was aesthetically too close to the Sonata.
Gone, but not forgotten.
In platinum, it had the weight of a dead donkey. Not very comfortable, but a lot of character. Without forgetting that this is one of the very rare perpetual calendar you can set front and backward.

I didn’t remember you having this one 😊 Very cool setting mechanism (forwards and backwards) - the kind of spirit of innovation UN could benefit from nowadays, too 🤞🏻
While I liked the "moustache" on the Sonata, I disliked this design here on the perpetual ....
... because it came after I fell in love with the classic design. Maybe if it had been released after the even more strongly designed "Toro", I would have thought differently. Marcus
