The Cristal,fully matured in bouquet of brioche,citrus fruit,nectarine,with it's fine mousse,was suitably lively on the palate with freshness and complex flavours--ready to be enjoyed.
The prize had to go to the 85 Romanee St Vivant--sheer elegance with it mouthfeeling flavours from beginning to end,no decanting time needed.Seamless texture on the palate,secondary flavours of fruit embracing its age,yet surprisingly youthful,not tired,almost hedonism.
The best,it was shared with good friends .
