This or that?
I am looking for older GOs and currently eyeing these two - 1845 Klassik and Cal39 Senator Panorama Moonphase. I currently have a Panoreserve. I want the Senator because I don't have an automatic GO and I don't have a moonphase as well. However the Cal39 doesn't seem as special as the Cal49 in the 1845 IMO. Is the Cal49 of higher overall 'status' than the 39? The 39 seems to be very common and readily available today whereas the 49 only appears on the special pieces these days. The 1845 compared to the Senator is also cheaper, discontinued and has that lovely white dial (pic below is silver) that looks like enamel. Simple classic elegance. Which should i get considering I already have a Panoreserve? I feel like getting both but am limiting myself to just one. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
