The Minerva Pythagore in action
It may be the smallest watch in my collection but you'd never know it from the wrist presence 
The watch has been a joy from the very first moment and continues to be so, irrespective of the situation or attire.
While the Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim has taken over quite some of the characteristics of the Pythagore, one can still dream of a Caliber 48 or 62 powered modern iteration of the watch.

I can highly recommend it!
The annual production numbers were low but they have been produced for a very long time, so finding one is not that hard. Fortunately you can get custom straps in the right size for it from Montblanc, too

It is a truly charming piece. While mine is from 1996, this exact model has been in semi-continuous production since at least 1954 (the earliest pictures I found of it). Quite a run, I'd say

It's not only the size, it's the spot on proportions, the minimalist design...
Yes - works best in this 34mm version!
The later 38 and 40mm ones, while still nicely balanced, do not quite have the same proportions.
As Adam noted...
If you do not like the 6 being covered up, the 38mm is the alternative choice...

But this version sadly doesn't have a swan neck. Some others featured it, though - both in the Frey as well as in the Gnutti eras A Minerva fan as well?

It is historically CORRECT! The originals from the 50'ies-60'ies also don't have a swanneck-regulator, of course! Regarding the size and the proportions: 34mm is the perfect size for the movement and 38mm for the dial, if you don't like to cut the six wit...
The presence of the name "Minerva" and the font used are such big charms.
It will be hard for Montblanc to introduce a re-edition without putting that writing on the dial.

It is the perfect combination between casual and elegant, hands are among the best out there, superb cream dial. Nothing to add, just super! Best.
