The Comic Strips Tour in Brussels

Brussels is only at 1 hour and half by train from Paris but it is a true change of world. Brussels has in France the reputation of a sad city or at least of a city which doesn't deserve a visit. It is absolutely wrong: Brussels is one of the most vigorous cities in Europe. You feel that some artistic trends are developing, things are moving and you can feel this energy in the streets, in the shops.

One of the best way to discover Brussels is to enjoy the Comic Strips Tour.

what is the Comic Strips Tour ?

As you know, Belgium is the homeland of Comics thanks to its very famous characters and cartoonists.

From the beginning of the 90's, the City of Brussels has decorated several walls with comic strips murals. Now more there are more than 30 comic murals in  Brussels.

If you take a map at your hotel, you will notice that each mural is indicated on it. Follow the dots on the map and you will discover the murals... and the city because you will be sure with this tour  to go into some places you would  have never imaginated to visit !

Of course, I found this tour a very nice and original way to discover the city so I spent 2 half-days to find these murals. I didn't find them all but well... that's a good reason to come back to Brussels !

I took a lot of pictures so enjoy this selection !
