The Cairelli less often seen - the Universal Geneve Cronometro Tipo CP-2
While at least 49 of us are intimately familiar with the Zenith Cronometro Tipo CP-2 in the Puristspro Edition (aka P15) and quite some others are happy to call the original Cairelli their own, it seems that Cairelli also sourced other chronographs for the Italian armed forces - namely from Universal Geneve.
Came across one by accident today and was quite surprised. Anyone know more?

Breitling made some, for the italian army ( E.I: esercito Italiano ) but not Cairelli, though. The Ref 817 from Breitling is closer to the Heuer Bund, in the design.

Would love to get one someday. Probably top of my list for Breitling watches to get. There was also a Zenith non-Cairelli for the helicopter pilots that I posted some months ago - also quite interesting (146 movement).
