Report... Rolex Exhibition: "A Journey Through History"...

Under the title "Rolex: A journey through history," my dear friends of an Rolex AD in Spain have organized an exhibition that, frankly, I´m really happy didn´t got lost.

Yesterday, a good number of friends got together for a pleasant Saturday, the excuse for the meeting ??... simple: what better than a good number of friends together, a nice environment where a good time and a stunning exhibition at the height of the best events I have ever enjoyed. The answer, as you see, is simple.

Well, without further blablabla, let's enjoy what I could find in this exhibition ...

The first showcase is a summary of major milestones of Rolex and more specifically of the submersible models: the birth of the box "Oyster" in 1926 and an explanation of the right-hand record of Piccard, the deepest dive (10.916m) in The Marianas.

All this with submariners from different periods: two 1680 double red letter, a 5513 NOS, Sea Dweller 16660, a 5508 James Bond from 1959 and a spectacular 1680 in yellow gold.

Of course, them combined with all the current models with ceramic bezel and some models recently discontinued.

Do you like to think in green ???.... I am not referring to the ad model...

Uff, what a Marvel... Rolex ref. 6536 / 1 in perfect condition. I must admit that is one of the most beautiful vintage Rolex I've ever seen ...

In the second window we can admire the other professional models: the conquest of Everest (Explorer) and the watch of the pilots (GMT).

We can see one Explorer 1016, one Explorer II 1655 freccione 1 st series, one GMT 1675, and all the current models, included the new Explorer I.

In the center a 6263 Daytona and a Daytona Zenith in perfect condition.

For Explorer´s Lovers...

And for the one Gmt´s nuts...

Dayto Love...

More green...

Another interest of the exhibition was to see the evolution of the Submariner over the years. For this, the exhibition was ordered in 5 areas with speakers inside and iconic versions of Submariner and Sea Dweller models:

James knew to surround himself with beautiful things...

And, of course, the new Sub Date:

Nothing better than a table-shot to be able to admire the dimension of the event...

Let´s see and "in depth view" of some of the marvels that I found there:

Sea-dweller double red.... magnifique!

Pure plexi porn!

And now, some pics of the, IMO, the Star of the event...Sub no crownguard ref 6536/1 en quite good condition... original crown, no graduated bezel, extensible bracelet quite Nos.... a Marvel!

Rolex Brevettato Crown...

And now, an amazing 5513 Maxi Dial...

And now, the Star is a soberb 5513 Cornino...

The Cornino in detail...

Nice duo...

And some pics of a 5513 latest series, circle dial and a nice bezel...

A chick touch... the rotor runs! smile...

And now, the best pics....

A magnificent place, a host of first class... the Excuse: the watches; the Reason: friends ....

I want to acknowledge the effort and dedication preparing this wonderful event to Alejandro and Daniel.

Hope you enjoyed it.

Un fuerte abrazo a todos.
Emilio
