Ulysse Nardin

My latest Ulysse-Nardin purchase has arrived!

After four months at the spa to service and calibrate the movements, my Trilogy set has finally arrived. Yes, it took a while but this set can only be serviced at UN Le Locle and verifying the calibration takes a month in itself! Both sides of each watch are purely mesmerizing. I thought I had adequately researched the complications, but there is so much more to learn about each one. I cannot begin to put in words how excited I am about this set. Its presence in my collection has made me re-think why I own other timepieces-- were they fashionable purchases or were there more sound horological basis? It's strange but I am now doubly tasked with learning the Trilogy in depth and with reviewing the other watches that I own. I've taken more than a sip of the horology Kool-aid this time. What do you think?

Huge congratulations, my friend. I always loved the Tellurium, and had a slight preference for this one, but the Astrolabium and the Planetarium eat my mind in the same way, with time passing. I agree with you, this is the kind of piece which will unavoid...
