Morning ritual with the Tonda split-seconds
November weather has set in. Not terribly cold but rainy and gloomy.
I still made it downtown for my morning espresso and pumpkin bread (it's the season!).
Of course I did my daily New York Times Mini Crossword

The Parmigiani split-seconds chronograph from 2016, officially called the Tonda Chronor Anniversaire, a limitied edition run of 100 pieces (25 each in 4 different combinations of red gold or white gold case, and blue or white enamel dial).

It's the same basic movement in each - the PF361.
Technically, the Toric movement is the PF361-SLIM and the Tonda movement is the PF361. The SLIM designation has no date display which accounts for the negligible thickness difference between the two watches of about .5mm. Both movements are 5 Hz / 36,000 ...
