Montblanc Villeret Vintage Tachydate spotted in the wild!

 

As per my post on Home, a few of us PuristS gathered in Singapore for our last gtg in the year of the horse. One fellow Purist brought along his Montblanc Villeret Vintage Tachydate. It's a beautiful watch! The movement is to die for! Superbly finished!

The Monopusher chronograph pusher feel is also smooth and has a nice tactile feedback.

I also like the warmth of the eggshell colored vintage inspired dial. 

I love this watch a lot . If only my wrist were bigger, the Vintage Tachydate could very well be my second Montblanc Villeret watch!

Your post got me to thinking (always dangerous) if a watch collector's GTG should really be considered "in the wild" - or a more civilized outing, like a visit to the zoo? Meandering aside, I just love that watch!!

Good one Dean! This one is a hybrid scenario. I didn't expect this fellow Purist of ours to wear this watch (I didn't know he very recently purchased this until we met at the gtg)... So it was almost as exciting as spotting one in the wild. :) Glad you li...
