Lotus Series Part V. The Esprit.
A model which made me dream, a lot.
From the 80's models, with a turbo delivering 210 HP and a good 240 Km:h, which was something at that moment. Series 3, if my memory serves me well. ( Credit Classic Car )
Tho the V8... I turned around this one a lot. And very often. At that time I didn't have the means to get and maintain one, but it never left my head nor my heart.
350 HP and 280 Km:h... A supercar in the mid 90's.
The rear round lights were not the correct ones for that one from 1998.

Love this car.
The lines are unique and reminds me so much of my childhood. One of the posters on my bedroom wall as a kid.
I would see it in my ideal / dream garage. 1 Lotus 7, the Esprit, one 911, one 246 Dino, one Alpine A110, a Volvo P1800, and good old 500 SL when I want to have uber long road trips.
Of course, this is my ideal vintage and neo vintage garage... I didn't even mention the moderns...

Love these. I don’t think I’ve ever mistaken an Esprit for another car.
They’re funky, they’re distinctive, and it seems to me that their designs have held up better than they should (if that makes any sense). Thanks for continuing the “E” car theme!
