Late Lunch at Chez Cazalea

We stopped by TunaVille, our local seafood shop, and picked up some smoked Baja scallops, and some fresh crabmeat. We arranged what I would call a Dockworkers (Ploughman's) Lunch. What do you think?

The wine is a Seaglass Pinot Grigio

While we were eating we noticed a small flock of seed eaters picking up the dregs of a previous day's meal.

With my wife's encouragement I smashed a couple all-grain crackers and opened the door.
Thus missing out a spectacular meal viewing.
Our local hawk came out of the pine tree right above me,(and the little birds who might have been his!).
We all screeched and headed in different directions.
Later they gained confidence and came back for their lunch.

PS - the hawk's lunch on a luckier day
