Lange 1815 Up/Down or the new Saxonia Moon
I am torn between the two. I was expecting the 1815 Up/Down to be my next watch, but now I am not so sure with the release of the Saxonia Moon. The 1815 has been a long time favorite and I really like the new size of the power reserve model. For me, it is a classic outside of the Lange 1. In terms of the Saxonia Moon, it brings a beautiful and less austere dial without the busyness of the annual calendar. Any thoughts between the two? Any comments on the Saxonia Moon from those fortunate to see one in person?

I just saw the Moon Phase when visiting Lange recently.
I would say the dial is perfectly proportioned for what is on it. My only indecision would be which metal to choose. They were both very striking. I am not a fan of the ab/auf-I keep thinking it looks like a chronograph but doesn't time anything! Really, ...

... Do you want a big date or moon phase complication or not? I'm a sucker for both, so I'd lean towards the Saxonia. I've heard tell of some heathens who hate these complications, and if that's the case with you the 1815 is the winner. I agree with pevio...

I like the dial of the moophase but I would favor a handwind movement in the Lange context. The up & down is a really well done watch. Fx
