Rolex

It came up in an auction at a charity event in my town and I was the winner. I won the Tudor last year at the same event & they really stepped up big time this year with the two tone Submariner.  My father is at the British open and fly’s back this week, I am going to surprise him with it upon his return. Should be a memorable 2 weeks in his life ! 

I am personally not too big on gold and I have a Submariner already, but this is the first time seeing the new model in the flesh.  I actually really like the slim lugs and the bracelet is noticeably wider for sure. There is definitely more of a difference than I thought there would be. This thing is a brick on the wrist with the gold, I couldn’t imagine how heavy a Smurf or all gold Sub is. I like a heavy watch  This bezel is a sublime blue and the sunburst dial catches the light flawlessly.
