It's been about 20 years since I've owned a quartz watch............
But this one is special as it was given to me from the family of one of my closest client's that had passed away. Albert was a true gentleman and great friend so when I look down at this Heuer it makes me think of him which puts a big smile on my face!
I don't know much about this Heuer watch but I did a little research online and it looks like it was produced in the early 80's and the model was called the black coral. At 38mm's it quite large for the time period.
As you can see the bracelet is pretty banged up, so I ordered a nice vintage looking leather strap that should arrive later this week.
In any event, I plan to give this watch to my son once everything is in order with it. Albert did not have children of his own so I can only imagine happy he would be if he knew my son ended up with his watch!
