For instance I will enjoy a white with scallops even a quarter or half glass with the appetizer and then a glass of red with the main course.

A very special wine. Like you i have no rules. I will be happy to have a red with fish and especially white wine with cheese region appropriate. Enjoy.

I actually don’t generally drink wine with sushi. I love excellent sushi and even though I am not a beer drinker I do enjoy a Japanese beer with sushi. Just one. I just find the best raw fish so pure I don’t want to overpower it. Have a great weekend Bill...
