IMO, this is simply the most elegant Union watch

Normally, Union is producing watches in steel cases only. This is part of their market positioning, and additionally serves to keep it from interfering with the GO line. However, in 2001, Union issued a limited edition of watches in pink gold cases. 100 pieces each (I think so, at least) of the automatic with small date, the automatic with panorama date, and the chronograph with date.

Today I visited my local Union dealer, equipped with my latest photography gadged, a foldable light tent, which finally enables me to make somewhat better pictures in spite of the halogen spot lighting which is ubiquitous at watch shops. There I noticed what might be one of the last available pieces of this gold series.

The casework is heavy, and simply marvelous. I think this is an extremely classic and elegant design, but with improved everyday comfort, due to the large panorama date and the luminous hands.

How do you like it?

Marcus
